A friend introduced me to the San Francisco Flower Mart just a few months ago. It has now become a regular stop. Strolling through the Flower Mart with a cup of coffee is a perfect dose of sunshine. Another plus easy parking.
Hola Chicas y Chicos!
I need your help please. No don’t stop reading! It should take just a couple of clicks of your time and try not to get distracted before you find my ♥.
I’ve created a profile on Vanity Fair for their Best Dressed Challenge Series. Yes, I’m a little late to the game since the month of March closes in a few days(so please help with azúcar on top).
The series will happen each month for a few months (I missed February since I just found this). This will also give my blog great exposure. Yes, you read correctly a fashion blog (but you know this already if you are reading this on my post not FB). I know. I know. Does the world need another fashion blog? Well, this love everything fashion girl thinks so! It only took 2 years to hit publish. It’s a huge learning curve for me so bare with me. I am definitely sending Colt (my sweet sunshine) to Coding Camp and Photography Camp or better yet I will go to these camps!
So if you could help this (from a small town turned city girl, from the wrong side of the tracks, never learned how to make tortillas, Latina) girl out I would so appreciate it. If you have already given me #sunshine – Muchas Gracias!
Here is the direct link. You click on Elsa’s Looks then simply Press the Heart symbol. If you would share with your friends and family that would be the icing on the cake, or the tulle in my skirt, or the sunshine in my heart, or better yet the chips to my salsa or ??? what would yours be?
So where to start? I was started this blog a year ago but then life happened (actually my laptop was stolen with my purse so that took the wind out of my sail). After many moves, San Francisco is starting to feel like home. It is quite the adjustment coming from spacious and sunny Arizona. The weather has been the toughest. I am fairly new to SF and in my search for literally sunshine I have found ways to make sunshine out of my new foggy surroundings.
The weather did put a damper on my spirits but also my wardrobe! It’s been quite the challenge to wear a maxi dress when it’s 46 degrees in July. Learning to layer has been key as well as an early morning run or workout to get the blood pumping. I have always loved fashion, fitness and food.
I admit I now own a Patagonia jacket. SF uniform is Lululemon and a puffer jacket of sorts! I don’t mind it I just don’t want to live in it daily!
Stay tuned as I gather my thoughts and pics. and we take this quest together.
Looking for sunshine
